Version 10.7
What’s new in the Rosslyn Platform
In this release, we have improved the filtering and selection options within the Data Reports to enhance the user experience of the Rosslyn Platform.
Improvements
Filtering
The filtering restriction has now been removed for the larger dimensions with over 50,000 options to ensure users can search and find values in dimensions such as Supplier Code, Supplier Name and Invoice Voucher number. The restriction was put in place to reduce performance issues. Users will see the filter option in the following fields will now allow the users to type and search for results in the following fields:
Supplier Name, Supplier Code, Voucher Number, Invoice Line Description, PO Line Description, Registered Business Name and Registered Parent Name. We will also apply this to any customer-specific 'Normalised Name' dimension.
Data Application
If the user's default report is a data report, then within the Applications Menu the Data report will open and display that report. If the user's default report is a dashboard, then the Data application will open and display the default target dimension e.g. category.
Column and Page Pinning
We have improved these features so that if a user has previously pinned columns, when they add another dimension, the pinned columns will persist and the new dimension will be added as the first non-pinned column.
If the user removes the dimension which includes a pinned column, then this will be removed from view.
If the user exports the data with pinned columns, those columns will be as shown on screen - e.g. pinned columns on the left will be the first columns in the export spreadsheet.
Adding / Removing Dimensions
When adding a new dimension using the Options in the Data report, that dimension will always be added to the left of the screen.
If a column has been pinned to the left, the new dimension will be inserted after that pinned dimension. If multiple dimensions are added after the pinned columns, in alphabetical order regardless of standard or advanced status.
Dashboards
Spend Dashboard
To improve performance, the Pareto chart has been replaced in the Category Summary dashboard for a Top 10 supplier donut chart.
Bugs
A number of small bugs were resolved that related to testing issues for the changes in this release.
The multi-select option has been temporarily disabled whilst the team works on an improved solution.
